About Chevy Chase At Home
How We Started
Many of us who cherish Chevy Chase want to “stay put” if possible, rather than some day moving to a retirement or assisted living facility. The aging in place movement is a new way for us to remain in our homes and neighborhoods as we grow older. Chevy Chase At Home is a non-profit organization incorporated in Maryland May 1, 2009 and has been designated as a tax-exempt [501(c)(3)] organization. Donations to Chevy Chase At Home are tax-dedcutible.

Our membership is open to residents of single family homes inside the boundaries of Wisconsin Avenue, East-West Highway, Beach Drive and Western Avenue. This includes in Chevy Chase Village, Martin's Additions, Rollingwood, the Old Hamlet, Section 3, Section 5, the Town of Chevy Chase and adjacent unincorporated areas inside the bounding streets.Detailed maps of the incorporated areas are available:

What We Provide
Chevy Chase At Home members have access to a broad network of services. Assistance provided by volunteers is included in the full membership fee. References are available for vetted commercial and professional services on a fee for service basis. One call to the central coordinator will arrange the volunteer service or provide the list of referrals that you need.

How would you like to volunteer? We are actively recruiting volunteers of all ages and interests to provide various types of support services. We do have several committees that support the programs and structure of the organization. Do contact us if you'd like to attend one of the committee meetings.
