About Chevy Chase At Home

How We Started

Many of us who cherish Chevy Chase want to “stay put” if possible, rather than some day moving to a retirement or assisted living facility. The aging in place movement is a new way for us to remain in our homes and neighborhoods as we grow older. Chevy Chase At Home is a non-profit organization incorporated in Maryland May 1, 2009 and has been designated as a tax-exempt [501(c)(3)] organization. Donations to Chevy Chase At Home are tax-dedcutible.

What We Plan to Provide

Chevy Chase At Home will provide access to a broad network of services. Assistance provided by volunteers will be included in the membership fee. Membership fees are not tax-deductible. Vetted commercial and professional services will be performed on a fee for service basis. One call to the central coordinator will arrange the volunteer service or provide the list of referrals that you need.
