This will be a docent-led tour of one of the treasures of the Freer Gallery, Whistler's Peacock Room,  designed for the shipping magnate Frederick Leyland, and then will move to the Sackler Gallery to see Darren Waterston's Filthy Lucre, depicting his imagined demise of the room.

The tour lasts one hour after which participants can explore the museum on their own.

If you are taking the Metro, take the Red Line to Metro Center and transfer to the Blue/Orange Line, getting off at the Smithsonian stop.  Take the Smithsonian exit from the station.
