This class meets every Wednesday for seven weeks (March 14-April 25) from 2:30 to 3:30 pm and registration is required in advance. Payment for this 7-week session is due by the first day of class. (no charge for caregivers. Please contact the office for more information).

Payment is by credit card on the website, by mailing a check to CC@ H or by giving your check and registration form to Tamu in the Chevy Chase Village office.

$105.00 per 7 week session.

The general public: $119.00 per 7 week session.

Dance & Song For Seniors: Movement, Music, Community

Enjoy the joy and many benefits of dance and song in a class that combines easy-to-do movements inspired by a wide range of dance styles and lively singing to piano accompaniment.  All dance material, some of which is done seated, is adaptable for people with varying levels of physical ability or mobility challenges, including participants who use walkers.

 

Instructors Robert Sacheli & Roy Barber: Robert Sacheli, a teaching artist in the Dance for PD program, trained at the Mark Morris Dance Group which developed Dance for PD. Roy Barber leads a Parkinson’s choir in Chevy Chase sponsored by the National Capital chapter of the Parkinson Foundation.
