Volunteer Info

Volunteers are the heart of our Village. We are grateful to our volunteers for building a caring community where older adults can thrive in their own neighborhoods.

Every day, our volunteers provide our members with support and confidence to live well in our community. As a small neighborhood based non-profit, we also rely on volunteers to help with supporting our operations.

Two Ways to Volunteer:

Practical Services for our Members

Assist with everyday tasks, such as providing a ride to an appointment, assisting with yard work, running an errand or simply making a friendly visit or phone call.

Organizational Support

Use your skills to help us support our Village operations! We need assistance organizing our social events, interest groups, educational programs, speaker series, Quarterly Newsletter, special programs, and community outreach events. We also welcome community members with expertise in law, finance, fundraising, marketing and communications, and other areas to consider serving on one of our committees.

Volunteer Appreciation Event 2021

"I find a lot of satisfaction assisting with requests. They meet a very tangible and present need, and I’m happy to help. I also really enjoy meeting our neighbors and hearing – even briefly – the stories they tell about their lives. It’s my hope to be a bright spot while providing a needed service."
