A number of members have mentioned their interest in going on hikes and walks on nature trails with other members and volunteers. Chevy Chase At Home has launched a new, member-led Hiking & Walking Group. We’re starting with a close-by scenic trail path within Rock Creek Park near Rollingwood. Meet at 9:45 am at the Parking Lot on Beach Drive at the corner of Beach Drive and Pinehurst Parkway. We will start walking at 10:00 am and head towards the Rock Creek Park trail entrance.

CC@H staff members, Jen and Peter, hope to join some of the initial fall hikes. This new group provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy fresh air, beautiful scenery, exercise, and conversation while connecting with fellow members and volunteers. If you are interested in joining the walk in Rock Creek Park or to learn more, please contact the office at info@chevychaseathome.org or (301) 657-3115.
