Howard Gleckman is a senior fellow at the Urban Institute and author of Caring for Our Parents (St. Martin's Press). Previously, he was Washington Bureau Senior Correspondent for Business Week, a Media Fellow at the Kaiser Family Foundation and a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. He is a trustee of the John Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Quality and Safety, former chair of the Suburban Hospital Board of Trustees, and vice president of the Jewish Council for the Aging. In 2016, he was named one of the Nation’s Top 50 Influencers in Aging by Next Avenue.
