Regenerative medicine is an exciting, emerging field of medicine that works by harnessing the healing capacity of our bodies to rebuild damaged tissues and organs. The key to understanding this new medicine is to appreciate that the human body naturally wants to heal itself. What if we could help the body heal faster and better? In Regenerative Medicine we enhance this capacity by focusing on improving tissue health at a cellular level through highly specialized procedures. Our speaker, Dr. Klaiman, received his Doctorate in Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine Tel Aviv University and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Columbia University. Upon completion of his residency he was a visiting associate in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the National Institutes of Health. Named by his peers as one of Washingtonian Magazine’s “Top Docs” for more than 15 years, Dr. Klaiman has been in private practice since 1996. The presentation is cosponsored by Friendship Heights Neighbor Network and the FH Village Center. RSVP to information.fhnn@gmail.com.
