Edd Barrows, Professor of Biology at Georgetown University and mentor to many undergraduate senior-thesis students, MS, and PhD students, will be leading this 2 part series. At Georgetown University, Edd is currently the Director of the Entomology and Biodiversity Laboratory and is the former Director of the Center for the Environment and Environmental Education. His current research laboratory, the Laboratory of Entomology and Biodiversity, is in the Heyden Observatory of Georgetown University. This Part 2 presentation is primarily about Glover Archbold Park, adjacent to Georgetown University. This is one of the finger parks of Rock Creek Park, and Foundry Branch intermittently flows through this narrow 2.6-mile-long park. The discussion will feature many local organisms.
