CC@H is partnering with other local Villages to offer current and prospective volunteers training in medical notetaking.
A medical note taker is a volunteer who accompanies a member to a medical appointment, listens well, takes notes, and provides the notes to the member in a timely fashion.
Program Learning Objectives:
• Understand why medical notes matter in today's healthcare environment
• Understand the role of the medical note taker
• Understand the differences between medical note taking and medical advocacy
• Understand how confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines are applied
Northwest Neighbors Village Executive Director Stephanie Chong, LICSW will be presenting the virtual training.
Materials will be sent to all attendees in advance of the training so registration is required by Friday, August 26,
