Zumba Gold/Zumba Level One is designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and people who want Zumba at a lower intensity. The class is just as fun as a regular Zumba class and uses the same great Latin styles of music and dance. Zumba Gold classes strive to improve balance, strength, flexibility and the heart. We use very easy to follow steps that include salsa, cha cha, merengue, rock & roll (including twist and charleston), belly dance, flamenco, folk dance and tango.

Instructor Sharon Gelboin-Katz is licensed to teach Zumba and Zumba Gold. Sharon has a strong background in folk dance and teaching Israeli and international folk dance and movement to children and older adults.  Sharon loves to incorporate some of the fantastic movements she has learned from Israeli and international folk dance into her Zumba Gold classes.

Class Schedule
Class meets from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm every Wednesday for 9 weeks from 3/20/19 to 5/22/19.* (*No class on April 24th.) 
Class dates:  March 20, 27; April 3, 10, 17; May 1, 8, 15, 22.  

Registration & Drop-Ins
Registration is required in advance. Class size is capped at 12 participants and the class fills quickly.

If slots are available, drop-ins are accepted. Drop-in charges:

--CC@H Members/Associates/Friends & residents of Chevy Chase Village: $10 per class.

--General public: $12 per class.

Payment
Note: The instructor may NOT accept payment. Contact the office to pay as a drop-in.

Payment for the 9-week session is due by the first day of class. Make payment by credit card on the website or by mailing a check to CC@H. CC@H Members/Associates/Friends Chevy Chase Village residents: $90.00 for the 9-week session. The general public: $108.00 for the 9-week session.
